The nose really pops on this wine with aromas of candied blueberry, red plum skin, violet flower and wet autumn leaves. I wasn’t told the % of new oak treatment, but I imagine it’s probably around 30-40%, but it doesn’t overpower this stunning Pinot Noir. Tannins are silky and smooth, the acidity is plentiful and the wonderful fruit tones come together perfectly with the savory and mineral aspects of the wine. Only 240 cases produced.
