White Walnut Estate's Pinot from Worden Hill Road is a beautiful offering in 2019. It comes from vines that are planted on three different rocky parcels. There are pretty aromas of black cherry, dark berries, and pomegranate, coupled with crushed gravel, citrus, sassafras, dried spice, and some lingering smoky notes. On the palate this is bright and fresh with a beautiful core of dark and red berries, with some earthy flavors. I think this will show best after 1-2 years of bottle age and drink well for the next decade.
