The Furioso’s top-of-the-line Pinot Noir, this wine sees 25% new French oak. The nose had a slightly reductive characteristic to it which I love in my wines, which quickly blew off to find aromas of black raspberry, clove and black tea lurking. Medium tannins, bright fruit and decent acidity form the backbone of the wine with flavors of red plum, white mushroom and wet slate dominating. Only 239 cases produced.
