Fermented and aged partially in neutral French oak barrels, the wine sports a nose of freshly cut green apple and pear and toasted slivered almonds. The mouthfeel is plush with beautiful acid and flavors of ripe pears and a touch of cream at the end of the finish. Pinot Gris is coming into its own in Oregon and Winter’s Hill creates one of the best. Only 164 cases produced.
