Oregon is producing outstanding Pinot Noirs and this 2018 Arcus Vineyard from Archery Summit is no exception. Bright red cherry and poultry spices form the base of the nose, with a hint of butterscotch surprising the senses. Red and black plum, dark chocolate, toasted hazelnuts and a pinch of ground cloves create the multi-dimensional and complex palate. The finish is savory, but with a citrus peel essence and the tannins are very well balanced.
