CALERA Pinot Noir, Mt. Harlan ‘Jensen Vineyard’ 2019

Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, with 30% being new, this stunning bottle of Pinot Noir delivers in spades. A lovely medium-ruby core with a pinkish rim beckons a taste. Aromas of ripe red plum, red cherry, wild strawberry, pink peppercorn, and lavender explode from the glass. The palate is smooth and luscious while the finish is elegant and long-lasting. The secondary notes of cedary herbs, pencil shavings, and crushed-stone minerality make this wine stand out from its peers. 720 cases produced. Highly recommended.
