CALERA Pinot Noir, Mt. Harlan ‘De Villiers Vineyard’ 2019

A bit richer and dark-fruit-driven than its sibling from the Jensen Vineyard, this wine is also aged for 18 months in 30% new French oak barrels. Black cherry candy, ripe mountain huckleberry, alfalfa, wet earth, and fresh violet aromas are scintillating on the nose. The palate is fresh, lively, and fruit-forward in nature. It’s medium to full-bodied, has elevated acidity, and has a crisp lengthy finish. 1175 cases produced.
