The 2014 Pinot Noir from Barra of Mendocino displays a dark ruby hue with vibrant and lively fragrance of fresh red currants, ripe cherries, coconut and hint of clove. The flavor profile is quite feminine with predominantly red raspberries, strawberries surrounded by a pleasant earthy core at midpalate and finish. A definite overachiever, as it drinks far above is current price point. (Best 2017-2022) - January, 2017 (DJH)
