Ancillary Cellars Pinot from the Sun Chase Vineyard offers up pretty aromatics of wild black cherries, red berries, black tea, eucalyptus, red currants, truffle and scorched earth which all emerge beautifully from the glass. This has a wonderful smooth texture with a medium-plus body that gives way for the bright red fruits, berries and hints of blood orange thatcontinue on to the elegant finish. This is fantastic today and should go on to evolve with some short-term cellaring.
