The 'FRV' Pinot Noir from winemaker Jeff Pisoni is made from Calera, Swan, and Pommard clones from Fort Ross-Seaview. It opens to an aromatic profile of black and blueberries, dried cherry, spice mixture, black tea, lavender and wild herbs. Medium-plus to full-bodied with flavors of berries, blood orange and spice and cola flavors that linger on the palate. The finish is long with bright acidity keeping it fresh and inviting.
