La Pitchoune's single vineyard bottling from the Pratt Vineyard is an outstanding effort. As this slowly begins to unwind it releases alluring aromatics of Meyer lemon curd, pear, ginger, white nectarine, hazelnut and spring flowers. The mouthfeel is excellent, showing fantastic weight and a luscious creamy texture. Gorgeous flavors flavors of citrus, orchard fruits, lemongrass and custard are coupled with lovely minerality. A delicious Chardonnay that is accessible today, yet should continue to drink beautifully over the course of the next decade.
