AU BON CLIMAT Pinot Noir 'Isabelle' 2013

The Au Bon Climat 'Isabelle' Pinot Noir comes from a blend of 6 different vineyards spread accross California. The blend changes from year to year, and can come from vineyard sites in northern California, Anderson Valley, Russian River Valley and Central Coast vineyards. The 2013 is a gorgeous wine, which opens to pretty aromas of red cherries, sweet spices, earth, and rose petals. It shows wonderful overall balance and structure with a nice touch of acidity carrying over into the zesty finish. A lovely effort and I expect this to continue to evolve beautifully over the next few years. (Best 2019-2029) - June 2017 (MD)
