This wine was aged for 17 months in primarily new French oak barrels and held for a year in bottle before release. Medium to dark ruby in the glass and giving aromas of dark cherry, blueberry liquor, wet earth, soy sauce, and toasted baking spices this wine is more on the rich and extracted side of other Sta. Rita Hills Pinots in the area. Medium tannins and medium acidity finish the wine. 239 cases produced
