The 2015 'Train Station' Cabernet Sauvignon is a deeply colored wine, which begins with aromatics of crème de cassis, black cherry, pipe tobacco and black olives all melding together. The palate is plush and layered, delivering black cherry, black olive, blackberry jam and milk chocolate flavors. This has marvelous weight and texture, showing off its forward style. Overall, this is a remarkable effort from winemaker Kerry Shiels, which should continue to drink well over the course of the next decade. (Best 2017-2026) - August, 2017 (OB)
