Candied black plum, dried thyme, cracked peppercorn, dried charcuterie and rich violet flower petals come together with solid acidity, medium tannins and a savory herbal and mineral finish. Like most Betz wines, this Syrah needs a year or two in bottle or a heavy decant to enjoy now.
