The 2021 Rockgarden Estate Syrah from Pasxa was aged in new and neutral oak French barrels and was fermented with 25% stem inclusion which gives the wine some added tannin and weight on the palate. Boasting notes of crushed boysenberries, dusty country road, bacon fat, wet stones, grilled grapefruit peel, and dried flowers. A lustrous mouthfeel, sweet tannins, and perfect acidity levels complete the wine that I highly recommend. Editor’s choice.
