Planted in 2006 on a younger block with 1100 feet of altitude, my favorite wine from Savage Grace features characteristics of blackberry, blue plum, black cherry, fresh herbs, and black olive tones. It’s aged for 24 months in once-used French oak barrels. It’s lean with high levels of acidity and chalky tannins that deliver a complex, delicious finish. Best after 2024.
