The 2010 ‘M by Michael Mondavi’ is a fantastic single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from high atop Atlas Peak. It immediately opens with seductive aromas of ripe cassis, dark cherries, graphite, milk chocolate, dried herbs, sweet spices and a touch of fresh cut violets, which all come together beautifully in the glass. This full-bodied, voluptuous red is round, polished and shows remarkable concentration and depth. It continues to impress all the way through the supple finish, which is layered with even more delicious ripe fruits, chocolate and sweet spices.
