The 2015 'Vermejo' is is a fantastic wine from Tamber Bey, composed of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon 21% Merlot 7% Malbec 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, which spent 17 months in French oak. It begins with inviting aromas of blackberries and dark cherries woven together with tobacco, graphite, sage and mocha nuances all soaring from the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied with excellent concentration and depth. It continues to impress with its gorgeous voluptuous mouthfeel that expands onto the supple finish. While this is outstanding now, it possesses all the characteristics to evolve beautifully for a decade or more. 177 cases made.
