TROUVÉRE Tempranillo Reserve, Umpqua Valley 2016

No tech sheets were given, but from the nose, I would assume that this is aged in partial American oak barrels because of the dill and coconut aromas that are present in the glass. Presenting a dark garnet-ruby core with a bluish rim, it is a stunning wine that I would call a Rioja Reserva in a blind taste test. Baked blue plum, crushed blackberries, cocoa powder, leather, and purple rose are all present on the palate. It finishes a touch earthy and spicy, with that lovely Tempranillo tone that I adore.
