Morgan consistently delivers high-quality Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands and this Double L Vineyard wine is no exception. Notes of black raspberry, black cherry, roasted cashew butter, ground espresso powder and cinnamon stick form the nose. This wine is aged for 10 months in 50% new French oak barrels which creates some of the toastiness you see on the palate. Flavors of huckleberry, rose petals and toasted baking spices frame medium-plus acidity, medium body and silky tannins. Only 97 cases produced.
