The 2014 Helena Montana Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is another stunning wine from Pierre Seillan in this vintage. It instantly impresses with a dark, opaque color and aromatics of ripe blackberries and dark currants woven together with pencil shavings, violets, roasted coffee and loamy minerals all coming together in the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied with a round, voluptuous mouthfeel that delivers layers of beautiful ripe dark fruits. It displays remarkable depth and concentration leading up to the long, enveloping finish which completes this wine. All being said, this is a flat-out delicious wine which will be hard to resist in its youth, nonetheless shows incredible promise for a long evolution ahead.
