This Syrah comes from their two acre home vineyard. Jennifer Tensley talked about how the vineyard is their labor of love. Their son, Oliver, actually planted the very first vine in 2011 and even harvested the first cluster three years later. This has aromas of smoked meats, black olive and dill with baking spices. There are flavors of smoked meats, red cherry, anise and wonderful minerality. This would pass for a Northern Rhone and is lovely and terroir driven juice. (Best 2016-2025) - December, 2015 (OB)
