The 2014 'North Coast' Syrah bottling from Arnot-Roberts is a fantastic new release wine. This wine has aromatics of smoked meats, crushed lavender, fennel and black cherry. This leads to flavors of red cherry, roasted figs, wild blackberry preserves and suggestions of white pepper and milk chocolate. Dense, generous, layered and balanced effort that is absolutely delicious and already showing so much character. (Best 2016-2025) - March, 2016 (OB)
