QUILCEDA CREEK Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley 2012

The 2012 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from Quilceda Creek is simply stunning. As this unwinds in the glass it release seductive aromas of blackberries and dark cherries which are woven together with savory herbs, bell pepper, tobacco, spices and pencil shavings that all explode from the glass. The palate is full-boded and remarkably well-structured, with beautiful polished tannins. It displays remarkable concentration, with a deep layered core of dark fruits and savory flavors that persist through the supple finish that shows incredible length. This is utterly fascinating today and should continue to provide enjoyment over the course of the next two decades. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Champoux, Klipsun, Palengat, and Wallula vineyards.
