PIOLET Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley ‘MMXXI’ 2021

Aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak barrels the 2021 MMXXI Cabernet Sauvignon from Piolet presents a beautiful medium, moving to dark, ruby-blue core with a bright shimmering neon pink rim. A gorgeous nose of light boysenberries, sugar coated blueberries, sweet chocolate, dried purple rose, cedary herbs, dusty road, and vanilla paste. Light and racy on the palate with rounded integrated tannins and perfect levels of acidity. I can’t wait to see what Piolet does in future vintages as their wines are fantastic. Only 175 cases made. Highly recommended.
