The Frenchman Hills Vineyard Chardonnay is yet another compelling wine from Sixto in this vintage. This Chardonnay was sourced from a high elevation site set at 1600 feet and was aged in 50% Concrete and 50% oak puncheons (25% new oak) prior to bottling. It begins with inviting aromas of toasty oak and brioche followed by orchard and cirtus fruits which relect on the palate. Beautifully textured and balanced, this is a remarkable wine which is already very attractive.
