The 2012 Spring Ridge Vineyard 'Upper Picnic Block' Pinot Noir comes from 27 year old vines of Dijon 777 clone. It is the most intense of Neely’s 2012’s, notable for its depth with concentrated aromas of ripe dark cherries, plums and blueberries followed by sweet spices, violets, white pepper, licorice and hints of earthy undertones, which all come together in the glass. It delivers loads of sweet ripe fruits, which continue to resonate through this opulent textured wine all the way into the layered, plush finish where they linger on.
