The 2018 Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon from Meadowcroft is sourced from 50-year-old family-owned vineyards on the eastern slopes of Spring Mountain. Dark and brooding in the glass, it displays a deep purple core with a neon ruby rim. Flavors and aromas of blackberry compote, black plum skin, wet-turned earth, black licorice, and cassis are all present and combine wonderfully on the palate. Firmly structured tannins, elevated acidity, and a full-bodied mouthfeel complete the wine. Better in 2024. Only 241 cases were produced.
