This bottling comes from the rolling hills of Geyserville in Sonoma county. This wine selected from several different vineyards, is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. It was blended from vineyard lots in early 2011 and transferred the wine to 50% new and 50% once-used American oak barrels for aging. It is somewhat backwards at the present. This wine begins with aromas of dill, red bell pepper and cherry tomato on the nose. The palate brings flavors of blackberry, dried herbs, with graphite and coffee. Medium bodied, this is one to enjoy right now. (Best 2015-2025) - November, 2015 (OB)
