Grown at about 900 feet in elevation the Roman Vineyard is all estate fruit and is a much meatier and earthy expression of Pinot Noir than the other specimens. Boasting a bright garnet-ruby core with a brickish rim, it presents aromas and flavors of macerated strawberry, roasted beef, wet red clay, ground pink peppercorn, raspberry preserves, Blood orange zest, and a hint of Earl Gray tea. Incredibly complex and beautiful, it finishes rich and full-bodied. Better in 2023
