GOLDENEYE Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley ‘Gowan Creek’ 2019

A gorgeous Pinot Noir from Goldeneye that is aged for 16 months in French oak barrels and showcases a deep ruby core with a neon pink rim. Wonderful notes of spiced blue plum, toasted Christmas spices, blueberry compote, and just a speck of cedary herbs merge together on the nose. The palate features hints of roasted meat, blueberry essence, and just a little hint of ground white pepper. Luscious acidity and perfect tannins create my favorite Goldeneye Pinot Noir from 2019.
