The O’Shaughnessy Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon is a completely captivating wine in this vintage by head winemaker Sean Capiaux. This Cabernet Sauvignon displays an impressive dark opaque color followed by seductive aromas of ripe dark fruits, sweet spices, graphite, fresh spring floral and underlying hints of dark chocolate all emerging beautifully from the glass. This full-bodied, rich, opulent Cabernet continues to impress on the palate with excellent balance and focus as well as outstanding overall depth and concentration. Everything all comes together as it expands beautifully on to the long, multidimensional finish, which leaves a lasting impression of ripe dark fruits and sweet spices lingering on. I expect this will continue to evolve for many years to come, however it is already absolutely sensational. (Best 2017-2034) - September, 2016 (JD)
