The Mt. Brave Cabernet Sauvignon is absolutely fantastic in 2015. Displaying an impressive dark, inky color this begins with lovely aromatics of high-toned blackberry, dark currant and cassis nuances with underlying aromas of sweet spices, salted dark chocolate, violet and earth which all develop in the glass. On the palate this is dense and concentrated with a wonderful combination of depth and acidity. It's packed with intense flavors of ripe black and red fruits backed by mineral and earth all leading up to the long, supple finish. While even as a young wine, the 2015 is already quite appealing, especially with some extended air contact, however this also has all the potential for a long evolution ahead.
