Sourced from Howell Mountain, this wine is primarily Cabernet Sauvignon (69%) with lesser portions Malbec, Merlot and Petite Sirah. The wine opens with intense aromatics reminiscent of creme de cassis and black cherry compote along with tar and anise. On the palate this is plush and decadent, with flavors of coffee ground, dark chocolate shavings, roasted figs and hints of crushed mint. Round and generous, this shoud continue to evolve nicely and drink well over the course of the next decade.
