The 2016 Greywacke Vineyard 'Eddie’s Patch' Syrah is sourced from a two-acre steep east-facing hillside parcel of vines that is set on rocky and gravel soils. This Syrah shows a really nice range from dark fruits to bacon fat to Umami on the nose. The palate has a wonderful combination of weight and tension, showing incredibally delicious dark fruit and citrus rind flavors, along with stony undertones. Lithe and delicious, this beautiful Syrah will continue to evolve beautifully in the cellar.
