The 2011 Pedregal Vineyard Caberbet Sauvignon is an outstanding effort by David Ramey. It delivers wonderful aromas and flavors of black cherries, currents, graphite, herbs, mineral and floral, which all come together beautifully in the glass. It impresses with its wonderful depth and seamless structure backed by beautiful fine polished tannins. The finish is long and caressing leaving behind notes of delicious dark fruits and a savory edge. Accessible today, but should also continue to evolve for years to come.
