Quivet's Syrah from Las Madres Vineyard, Hulda Block is fantastic in 2019. A classic Northern Rhone styled Syrah with the brightness of Carneros. This shows classic aromas of violet, dark cherry, fresh blue and black fruits, olive, tar smoke, violet, dark soil, cola, mint and some white pepper. On the palate this is fresh and exciting with lots of ripe fruit couples with vibrant acidity and a core of dark and red fruits. Drink over the next 10-15 years.
