LUTUM Chardonnay, Durell Vineyard 2013

The 2013 Lutum Durell Vineyard Chardonnay is a solid effort from Winemaker Gavin Chanin, who sources his fruit from the oldest Chardonnay section of the Durell Vineyard. As this begins to open in the glass it displays aromas of yellow peach, tropical fruits and minerals lifted by a floral topnote and a hint of honey. It has fantastic depth and purity on the palate, with flavors of pineapple, cream and fresh mineral with everything coming together on the pretty finish. Drink it now or over the next 5-8 years.
