Wow, the 2009 Bodegas Alto Moncayo Campo de Borja 2009 is bombastic and possibly the best Moncayo I have ever tasted, certainly the most delicious. It brings complex layers of densely packed blackberry, blueberry, toasted coconut, milk chocolate, spices and gorgeous fresh lavender. This has great depth and is so mouth-watering with beautiful round polished tannins. A pleasure to drink and just so delicious from start to finish. Year to year this is a highlight in Spain for me.
