The 2016 Tumba del Rey Moro is a fantasic follow up to least years sensational release, and may even be a notch better. The wine was sourced from just outside Mardid, in the Sierra del Gredos where Fernando García & Dani Landi farm the 60-70 year old vines planted to the granite and quartz soils. The wine itself is simply striking, showing remakable elegance and finesse as aromas of raspberries, florals, dried herbs, tea leaf and minerals which all take shape beautifully. Onpossesses a gorgoeus medium-body with outstandng overall balance and purity and a long graceful finish. The Tumba del Rey Moro is one of the most exciting wines in all of Spain and the wines of Comando G seem to be getting better and better with each vintage.
