A superb Rioja, beaming with alluring aromatics of cherries, raspberries and plum, woven together with spices, leather and earthy nuances all taking shape. Beautifully structured with a medium-plus to full body backed by a gorgeous velvety texture and wonderful concentration through the long finish. The blend of Tempranillo, 15% Graciano, 12% Garnacha and a touch of Viura was aged in used French (60%) and American oak barrels for three years, followed by another three years in bottle. While this is impressive today, this fantastic Rioja will surely age gracefully, providing many years of pleasure to come.
