The 2011 Quinta Beira is dark and jammy with aromas of black currant, roasted plum, dark chocolate, loam and spices. This boasts a full body with a rich velvety texture and a nice touch of acidity to balance it out. The finish is long leaving behind a generous coating of dark fruits, spices and chocolate flavors. Approachable now, but should be at its best with some short-term cellaring. (Best 2004-2019) - January, 2014 (JD)
