Pretty aromas of cherries and blackberries come together with dried tobacco, spices and fresh cut floral in this elegant blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot from Tenuta San Guido. On the palate this medium-bodied red is well balanced and supported by fine, silky tannins which lead into the finish. The 2014 Guidalberto was aged 15 months in mostly in French oak with some use of American oak barrels and should continue to evolve with some additional time in bottle. (Best 2017-2024) - April, 2016 (JD)
