The 2012 Bolgheri Rosso is a fantastic offering from the Fittapaldi Family. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese opens up with nuances of dark cherries and blackberries followed by spices, graphite and hints of bittersweet chocolate. The palate shows a lovely finessed texture and remains nicely structured through the finish. Even at this early stage this is already showing well, yet it looks to be poised for an even brighter future. (Best 2015-2022) - December, 2014 (JD)
