The 2016 ‘Guado de’ Gemini’ Bolgheri Superiore from Chiappini opens to an inviting aromatic profile of fresh blackberries, black plums and hot stones which all take shape in the glass. On the palate it is strident and slightly herbaceous which is underlined by a lovely streak of acidity as it comes to an end with a long, vertical finish.
