The 2009 Valdicava Rosso di Montalcino delivers aromas of blackberry, raspberry and floral with hints of spice, chocolate-licorice twist, leather and sandalwood. Firm with fine grained tannins and a ultra-long chewy finish. This has the makeup to be a very special Rosso, but will require a bit more time in bottle to flesh out.
