The 2018 Poggio del Concone Toscana Rosso slowly begins to unwind after extended air, offering inviting aromas of ripe black cherries, dark plum, exotic spices, tobacco and crushed stones. The palate with its medium to full-bodied, velvety and nicely balanced, with a lovely touch of underlying acidity that provides a nice sense of freshness leading up to the finish that leaves behind flavors of dark fruits and spices.
