The 2006 Basilisco Aglianico del Vulture offers intense aromas and flavors of blackberries, cherries and plums with pepper, spices, cedar and earthy notes layered in. Full and structured with a long spicy finish. The 100% Aglianico comes from vines rooted in volcanic soils derived from nearby Mount Vulture and was aged for 12 months in French oak barriques.
