The 2009 ‘Il Poggio’ is a classically styled Chianti Classico, which brings aromas of blackberries, plums, juniper, exotic spices, orange zest and dried floral, which all come together in the glass. This is nicely balanced and well structured with soft, silky tannins that carry over beautifully onto the finish. This will be accessible early on. (Best 2014-2022) - November, 2014 (JD)
